BEST SCHOOLS IN ROCKWALL TEXAS

There are a lot of reasons people love to move to Rockwall. We still have a bit of a small town feel. We have great property values. We have the lake and we’re just far enough away from Dallas to have some elbow room.

Another reason people love Rockwall is because we have really great schools. Our schools are rated annually by the Texas Education Agency. The latest ratings available are from the 2018-19 school year. Given the impact of COVID-19, all districts and schools received a label of Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster for their 2020 accountability ratings.

The district is one of the fastest growing in Texas and at the making of this video there’s a bond proposal up for election that would provide $475,845,000 for new schools, additions to current schools, and update the technology throughout the schools. They also want to create 9th grade campuses and move 6th graders from the elementary schools to the middle schools to give more space at the current elementary schools.
